Raising Attainment in Year 6

This course will include schools working together to identify, track and target the needs of children in Year 6 for one main aim: supporting Year 6 to improve outcomes at the end of Key Stage 2. The sessions will draw on input from assessment, maths and English teams and provide the opportunity for Year 6 teachers and headteachers to attend sessions jointly to maximise progress across Year 6. As a result, teachers will be confident when planning for success in Year 6, whilst senior leaders will benefit from designated time to work alongside Year 6 colleagues to discuss current outcomes and next steps.

Assessment Across the Wider Curriculum 25-26 (Blended)

This training aims to give leaders the opportunity to discuss principles of effective assessment and how these can be used practically to support assessment and its impact for foundation subjects.

The face-to-face sessions will each be followed up with a twilight session for all staff who lead a subject so the principles can be put into practice. A final session will enable schools to share the impact of the developments.
