Raising Attainment in Year 6
This course will include schools working together to identify, track and target the needs of children in Year 6 for one main aim: supporting Year 6 to improve outcomes at the end of Key Stage 2. The session will draw on input from assessment, maths and English teams and provides the opportunity for Year 6 teachers and headteachers to attend session jointly to maximise progress across Year 6. As a result, teachers will be confident when planning for success in Year 6 whilst senior leaders will benefit from designated time to work alongside Year 6 colleagues to discuss current outcomes and next steps.
The course fee is for up to three attendees from each school. The headteacher and two Y6 teachers.

Raising Attainment in Year 4
Year 4 Maths, English and Assessment: Targeted Practice for Accelerated Progress
This year long professional learning course will support Year 4 teachers and senior leaders to strengthen the purposeful use of assessment to identify need, adapt curriculum provision and accelerate progress in English and mathematics. Delivered across the academic year, the course will focus on securing strong end outcomes through high‑quality teaching, curriculum planning and effective moderation. Teachers will also develop a shared understanding of how to identify target pupils through robust diagnostic and summative assessment, including the use of VENNs and gap analysis.
The course fee is for up to three attendees from each school. The headteacher and two Year 4 teachers.

Adapting the Curriculum for a Strong Start in Year 6 - Using Year 5 and 6 Outcomes
Teachers will be supported in the effective use of existing Year 5 assessment data to inform teaching and learning during the autumn term of Year 6. The course will also include a guided analysis of the 2026 KS2 SATs papers in reading, GPS, mathematics and a reflection on the transcriptional aspects of writing (spelling and handwriting).

Securing Strong Foundations in Key Stage 1 - 26-27
This course will support teachers in identifying the foundational knowledge in both English and maths. It will provide a model of progression for the six-term journey across KS1 and demonstrate how this leads to mastery of the National Curriculum in English and maths at the end of Y2.
