  • The Primary Assessment Network (PAN) sessions for Hampshire schools offer the opportunity for senior leaders and assessment leads to work collaboratively through a series of network meetings. These meetings are a chance for assessment leads to hear the latest statutory messages from the DFE and STA in relation to all primary phases.  The sessions also draw on a wide range of evidence-based research to explore approaches to assessment informed pedagogy.

    This year the assessment networks will be consist of five linked sessions, with a mixture of virtual and face to face opportunities at strategic points in the year. The EYFS team will present key updates at the virtual sessions.

    What's Included in the PAN programme offer 2025-26:

    • three one-hour virtual briefings featuring statutory updates, a spotlight on an area of teaching and learning and an update from the EYFS team
    • two face-to-face network sessions with a focus on assessment informed approaches to pedagogy
    • all sessions will be linked in 25-26 to promote consistency and continuity of message

    How to book

    As our Primary Assessment Network programmes have now started, self-service bookings via the Learning Zone are no longer possible. However, any schools that would still like to join these programmes are kindly requested to complete the Primary Assessment Network programmes booking form.  HTLC administrators will then make the booking on your behalf and notifications will be sent out via the Learning Zone.  Online resources are available for any missed sessions.
